THE DOCTRINE OF JUDGMENT

1. Judging a brother

a) Why do you judge a brother? (Romans 14:10a)
b) Why do you show contempt for a brother? (Romans 14:10b)

2. The judgment seat of Christ

a) We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (Romans 14:11a)
b) It is written (Romans 14:11b) (Isaiah 45:23)
i) Every knee shall bow to Me
ii) Every tongue shall confess to God (Philippians 2:10)

3. Giving an account of our life

a) Each of us will give an account of himself to God (Romans 14:12)
b) Do we need to re-order our life?

4. No judgmental attitude

a) Let us not judge anyone anymore (Romans 14:13a)
b) Resolution:
i) Not to put a stumbling block
ii) Nor a cause to fall in our brother’s way (Romans 14:13b)

5. The teaching of Jesus

a) Judge not, that you be not judged (Matthew 7:1)
b) With what judgment you judge, you will be judged (Matthew 7:2a)
c) With what measure you use, it will be measured to you (Matthew 7:2b)
