Message Notes

1. Have they not all heard?
Yes, indeed (Romans 10:18)

Citing Scriptures

a) Their sound has gone out to all the earth
b) And their words to the ends of the world (Romans 10:18; Psalm 19:4)

This is a reference to the world at large

2. Did Israel not know?

Citing Moses

a) I will provoke you to jealousy by those who are not a nation
b) I will move you to jealousy by those who are not a nation,
c) I will move you to anger by a foolish nation (Romans 10:19; Deuteronomy 32:21)

Citing Isaiah

a) I was found by those who did not seek Me
b) I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me (Romans 10:20; Isaiah 65:1)
c) To Israel
All day long I have stretched out My hands;
To a disobedient and contrary people. (Romans 10:21; Isaiah 65:2)

3. Israel should have known better

a) Disobedience
b) Contrary
c) These and other sin problems plagued Israel as a nation
d) Many prophets were sent to Israel but to hardly any avail (Jeremiah 7:25-26)
i) Since the day that your fathers came out of Egypt
ii) I have even sent out My servants the prophets
iii) Daily rising early and sending them
iv) Yet you did not obey Me
v) Nor inclined their ear
vi) But stiffened the neck
vii) They did worse than their fathers
