WRONG APPROACH

1. Man

a) Who is he?
b) What is he?
c) Who are you to reply to God (in this manner?) (Romans 9:20)
d) Will the thing formed say to the him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
(Romans 9:20)

2. Potter and Clay analogy

a) Does not the potter have power over the clay? (Romans 9:21)
b) From the same lump
i) To make a vessel for honour
ii)And another for dishonour

A PROFOUND GOD

1. A God of wrath (Romans 9:22a)
2. A God of power (Romans 9:22b)
3. A long-suffering God (Romans 9:22c)

THE SOVEREIGN WILL OF GOD MADE KNOWN

1. The vessels of wrath (Romans 9:22)

2. Prepared for destruction (Romans 9:22)
