THE LIFE THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL GIVE  (Romans 8:10-11)

1. A sharp contrast

a) The body is dead because of sin (Romans 8:10)
b) The Spirit is life because of righteousness (Romans 8:10)

2. Elaboration

a) The Spirit will give life to the mortal body (Romans 8:11)
b) Spirit-empowered life (Romans 8:11)
c) We can put to death the deeds of the body (Romans 8:12-13)
