PROBLEMS BROUGHT TO GOD IN PRAYER BY DAVID

1. The problem of people rising up against David

a) No names were mentioned
b) The title is already suggestive
c) There were many people involved in this rebellion   (Psalm 3:1)

2. The things that troubled David

a) The number of people who rose up against him
b) The words that they had said to him “There is no help for him in God”   (Psalm 3:2)

FINDING SPIRITUAL STRENGTH

1. Located in the LORD

a) His shield
b) His glory
c) The LORD Himself will lift up his head   (Psalm 3:3)

2. The assurance David felt

a) In praying to God
b) His assurance that God had heard his prayer   (Psalm 3:4)

RESULTS

1. Ability to sleep   (Psalm 3:5a)
