COPING WITH THE PROBLEM OF ENEMIES

1. Trust

a) In You, O LORD, I put my trust   (Psalm 31:1)
b) I trust in the LORD   (Psalm 31:6)
c) But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD   (Psalm 31:14)

2. Trusting the LORD

a) As a rock of refuge   (Psalm 31:2)
b) As a fortress of defence   (Psalm 31:2)
c) Rock and fortress   (Psalm 31:3)

3. Trusting the LORD for the following

a) His leading   (Psalm 31:3)
b) His guiding   (Psalm 31:3)

PRAYING AGAINST THE WICKED

1. Let the wicked be ashamed   (Psalm 31:17)

2. Let them be silent in the grave   (Psalm 31:17)

3. Let the lying lips be put to silence   (Psalm 31:18)

b) They speak proudly
c) They speak contemptuously
d) They speak against the righteous
