b) They hate with cruel hatred

CRYING OUT TO THE LORD

1. To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul   (Psalm 25:1a)

2. O my God, I trust in You   (Psalm 25:1b)

NEVER ASHAMED

1. Not disappointed

2. Not let down by the Lord

3. Not cast aside by Him

4. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed   (Psalm 25:2a)

ASHAMED

Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause   (Psalm 25L2b)

1. Recall Psalm 15:1-5

2. Recall Psalm 24:3-5

A VITAL PRAYER

1. The ways/ paths of the Lord

a) Show me Your ways, O LORD
b) Teach me Your paths   (Psalm 25:4)

2. The leading of the Lord

Lead me in Your truth   (Psalm 25:5a)

3. The teaching of the Lord

And teach me   (Psalm 25:5b)

4. Waiting on the Lord

For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day   (Psalm 25:5c)

NECESSARY CONFESSION OF SIN

1. The sins of my youth   (Psalm 25:7a)

2. My transgressions   (Psalm 25:7b)

BASIS OF PLEADING

1. God’s tender mercies   (Psalm 27:6a, 7)

2. His lovingkindness   (Psalm 27:6b)

3. They are from of old   (Exodus 34:6-7)
