BEGINNING THE DAY WITH GOD IN PRAYER

1. Consciousness of who God is

a) O LORD   (Psalm 5:1)
b) My King   (Psalm 5:2)
c) My God   (Psalm 5:2)

2. Prayers

a) My words
b) My meditation
c) The voice of my cry   (Psalm 5:3)

3. Morning prayer

a) My voice you shall hear in the morning
b) In the morning I will direct it to you and I will look up   (Psalm 5:3)

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

1. You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness   (Psalm 5:4)

2. Nor shall evil dwell with you   (Psalm 5:4)

3. The boastful shall not stand in Your sight   (Psalm 5:5)

4. You hate all workers of iniquity   (Psalm 5:5)

5. You shall destroy those who speak falsehood   (Psalm 5:6)

6. The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man   (Psalm 5:6)

KNOWLEDGE OF WICKED PEOPLE

1. There is no faithfulness in their mouth   (Psalm 5:9)

2. Their inward part is destruction   (Psalm 5:9)

3. Their throat is an open tomb   (Psalm 5:9)

4. They flatter with their tongue   (Psalm 5:9)

PRAYER AGAINST THE WICKED

1. Pronounce them guilty, O God   (Psalm 5:10)

2. Let them fall by their own counsels   (Psalm 5:10)

3. Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions   (Psalm 5:10)

4. They have rebelled against You   (Psalm 5:10)

THE DIFFERENCE (PERSONAL)

1. But as for me

2. I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy   (Psalm 5:7)

3. In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple   (Psalm 5:7)

4. Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies   (Psalm 5:8)

5. Make Your way straight before My eyes   (Psalm 5:8)

THE DIFFERENCE (THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN YOU)

1. Let all rejoice   (Psalm 5:11)

2. Let them shout for joy because You defend them   (Psalm 5:11)

3. Let those who love Your name ne joyful in You   (Psalm 5:11)

CONFIDENCE IN THE LORD

1. His blessing

For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous   (Psalm 5:12)

2. His protection

With favour You will surround him as with a shield   (Psalm 5:12)
