DANGER CONFRONTING THOSE WHO THINK THEY ARE STRONG

1. He thinks that he is strong   (1 Corinthians 10:12)

2. He thinks he would not fall   (1 Corinthians 10:12)

THE TESTING THAT MAY COME TO US

1. Problems that we may encounter:

a) Bread and water in the wilderness
b) How do we face problems?
c) Complaining is not the answer

2. Problem of being stiff-necked

a) Refusal to heed
b) Stubbornness
c) Repeating of sin

3. Problem of following the wrong things

a) Wrong leaders
b) Wrong thinking
c) Wrong pursuits

VITAL TRUTHS

1. The word God must be honoured

a) Man cannot live by bread alone   (Deuteronomy 8:3)
b) No addition or subtraction   (Deuteronomy 4:2)

2. Requirements of the LORD

a) Love the Lord   (Deuteronomy 6:4-5)
b) Fear the Lord   (Deuteronomy 10:12)
c) Walk in all His ways   (Deuteronomy 10:12)
d) Keep all His commandments   (Deuteronomy 10:13)

ASSURANCE FROM THE LORD

1. No need to fear testing

a) All tests are common
b) We will not be tested above our strength

2. God’s special provision

a) He will help us
b) We can bear all tests
