“TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY”

 

(I) THE GLORY OF GOD

1. Seen in His creation (Psalm 19)


2. Revealed numerous times

a) At Mount Sinai to the children of Israel (Exodus 19)

b) Throughout the Wilderness Journey

i) Pillar of Cloud by Day

ii) Pillar of Fire by Night

c) At the Dedication of the Tabernacle (Exodus 40)

3. In Jesus

a) His Incarnation (John 1:14)

b) His life on earth (John 1:14)

4. In His Plan of Salvation (Ephesians 1:1-14)

a) Spiritual blessings in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3)

b) Our adoption as children of God (Ephesians 1:6)

c) His grace (Ephesians 1:6)

i) Such glory (Ephesians 1:6)

ii) Such riches (Ephesians 1:7)

a) Through the Spirit of God (Ephesians 1:13-14)

b) Through His working in our life (Ephesians 1:19)
