MERCY- AN ETERNAL ATTRIBUTE OF GOD

3. The Attributes of the LORD God revealed   (Exodus 34:6-7)

d) Abounding in goodness and truth
e) Keeping mercy for thousands
f) Forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin

THE PLEA FOR MERCY

1. According to Your mercy remember me   (Psalm 25:7b)
2. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth   (Psalm 25:10a)
3. Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me   (Psalm 25:16a)

FOR WHOSE SAKE?

1. For goodness’ sake (not man’s!)   (Psalm 25:7c)
