Title: Revive Me

Text: Psalm 119:25-32

WHAT IS REVIVAL?

1. It is a special work of God in our spirit

2. He helps us to come alive

3. He helps us overcome dismal feelings

WHY DO WE NEED REVIVAL?

1. There will be times when we feel low

“My soul clings to the dust” Psalm 119:25a

2. There will be times when we feel heavy-hearted

“My soul melts from heaviness” Psalm 119:28

3. These feelings may be caused by:-

a) External circumstances

b) Internal feelings

HOW DO WE GET REVIVAL?

1. We must face ourselves honestly

2. We must cry out to the Lord with all our heart

“Revive me” Psalm 119:25a

3. God will answer our prayer

“You answered me” Psalm 119:26b

HOW DOES GOD BRING ABOUT REVIVAL?

1. It will be according to His word Psalm 119:25b

2. He will teach us His statutes Psalm 119:26-27

3. He will strengthen us Psalm 119:28b

4. He will enlarge our heart Psalm 119:32b
