1. Conquerors

a) An overcomer

b) A word from the Lord Jesus Christ through the Spirit of God

c) Seven times a special word of encouragement was given to “Overcomers”

“To him who overcomes”   Revelation 2:7, 17; 3:21

“He who overcomes”   Revelation 2:11, 26; 3:5, 12

2. More than conquerors   (Romans 8:37)

a) Through Him who loved us   (Romans 8:37)

b) Through Christ’s love   (Romans 8:39)

c) Through God’s love   (Romans 8:39)

THE THINGS WE CAN OVERCOME THROUGH CHRIST

1. Charges against God’s elect   (Romans 8:33)

God justifies!

2. Condemnation against God’s elect   (Romans 8:34)

a) Christ died for us!

b) He rose for us!

c) He is at the right hand of God interceding for us   (Romans 8:34)

3. Problems in life that threaten:

a) Tribulation

b) Distress

c) Persecution

d) Famine

e) Nakedness

f) Peril

g) Sword

TRIUMPHANT CONQUERORS IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES OF LIFE

1. Absolute Confidence

a) Persuaded   (Romans 8:38)

b) Nothing will separate us from the love of God   (Romans 8:38-39)

i) Angels/ Principalities/Powers

ii) Things present or future

2. Challenge to display this spirit of triumph as more than conquerors

a) In adverse circumstances

b) In all circumstances
