EXAMPLE OF GOD MAKING A DIFFERENCE TO THE ISRAELITES (EXODUS 7-12)
“And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell… I will make a difference between My people and your people” Exodus 8:22-23
1. The first 3 plagues – experienced by both Egyptians and Israelites
2. The next 7 plagues – experienced only by the Egyptians
3. The Israelites were distinguished by the difference God made in their lives!

WHY GOD WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES
1. To tell us we are His people
2. To tell us He wants to be personally involved in our lives
3. To give us blessings that will set us apart from other people
HOW GOD MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES
1. Protection
a. He can keep us from harm
b. He can preserve us from danger
2. Peace
a. He can give us confidence to face life’s challenges
b. He can give us assurance that He is in control of our life
AN APPROPRIATE RESPONSE
1. To believe in God!
a. That God’s presence can make a difference in our life
b. That as His people, He will give us
i. Protection
ii. Peace
2. To appreciate God’s presence further in our life
a. Not to take His presence for granted
b. To be more conscious of His presence making a difference in our lives
