INTRODUCTION

1. The Doctrine of Salvation

a) A glorious Doctrine
b) It teaches us important truths about God
c) It also helps us to appreciate Salvation at a personal level

2. Many take God’s Salvation too much for granted

a) They lose out when salvation is taken for granted
b) They miss many wonderful blessings from God

SO MANY DETAILS INVOLVED IN OUR SALVATION

1. God the Father

“According to the foreknowledge
Of God the Father”   1 Peter 1:2a

2. The Holy Spirit

“In sanctification of the Spirit”   1 Peter 1:2b

3. The Lord Jesus Christ

“Sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ”   1 Peter 1:2c

MANIFESTATION OF MANY BLESSINGS

1. The Mercy of God

“Abundant mercy”   1 Peter 1:3
a) Mercy is given abundantly
b) We have many sins to be forgiven of

2. The power of God

“Kept by the Power of God”   1 Peter 1:5
a) The power of God is great
b) He is protecting us

3. A living hope

“Begotten us to a living hope”   1 Peter 1:3

b) A living hope is born

4. An inheritance

“An inheritance incorruptible
And undefiled
And that does not fade away”   1 Peter 1:4
a) Incorruptible
