I Can Only Imagine

I can only imagine what it would be like when the Lord Jesus establishes His kingdom on earth. It would be like nothing we have ever seen or experienced before. These past few months of studying about the Lord Jesus and the Millennial Kingdom at the YPG have given me a renewed excitement and hope in His coming sovereign reign on this earth. I can only imagine what it would be like when Jerusalem would be established as the place where the Lord’s throne will be and Mount Zion would be raised up higher than all the other surrounding mountains. It would be a new world where Satan’s power would be at its minimum and the Lord Jesus would have His greatest influence on earth. It would be a restoration to the days of Adam and Eve and more. This glorious new kingdom will show forth what a theocracy should be. All the righteous nations who keep the truth will come and enter into the doors of Jerusalem. The Lord Jesus would reign triumphantly over all the nations. I can only imagine what a glorious day that would be. Truly, we will sing great songs to the Lord in that day. I am excited about the Lord’s coming more so than ever before. So should you!

Placing Full Trust In The Lord Forever

“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the Lord forever,
For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.”

Isaiah 26:3-4

Perfect peace in God will see its full realization in the Millennial Kingdom. And yet, it does not mean that we cannot experience the Lord’s peace right now. If we focus on all things that are good and wonderful according to His word, pray to the Lord and trust in Him fully, His peace that passes all understanding will be upon us (Philippians 4:6-7). Our part is to develop our trust in the Lord. Furthermore, we can trust in the Lord because there is everlasting strength in Him. He can overcome all enemies. He can give us strength to overcome all things. Let’s learn to trust in the Lord even more.

Walking In The Way Of Uprightness

“The way of the just is uprightness,
O Most Upright,
You weigh the path of the just.
Yes, in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have waited for You”

Isaiah 26:7-8

As we learn to trust in the Lord and wait on Him, we would learn how to walk in uprightness. The Lord is called “O Most Upright”. There is nothing that pleases Him more than when we reflect His glory. The just, those who have been imputed with righteousness, would choose the way of the upright. They will wait on the Lord in the way of His judgments. Young people, let’s do all we can to seek the way of the just. Let’s choose to walk in uprightness.

Soul-Felt Desire For The Lord

“The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You.
With my soul I have desired You in the night,
Yes, by my spirit within I will seek You early”

Isaiah 26:8-9

When the Lord is in such close proximity on earth, our great desire would be for the Lord and His name. We would desire even more for the Lord’s name to be lifted up. We would take the time to remember the Lord and His grace. Isaiah wrote of how he had this soul-felt desire for the Lord in the evening and in the morning. Before he ended the day and as he started the new day, Isaiah prayed and interacted with the Lord. King David also sought the Lord in such a manner (Psalm 63:16). His determination was to seek the Lord early and before He slept. Young people, let’s cultivate this desire to be with the Lord and to seek Him. May our soul seek the Lord even more as we look forward to His return.
