A real inspiration

Inspiration is a vital aspect of life. We all look for inspiration in life and work. Yet sometimes, our motivation does not seem to last or is found wanting. Personally, I have found grace to be a real inspiration. It has made a significant difference in my life and ministry…in all that I seek to do. I thank God that I have been inspired by grace. Have you been inspired by grace too? There is much joy in living a life inspired by grace.

Reasons for grace to be a real inspiration

Why is grace such an inspiration?

1. It is Biblical

Grace stems from the Word of God and not from any secular or human source. It is not positive thinking but something most Biblical. It is through the Word of God that grace inspires us spiritually.

2. It is powerful

Grace is indeed powerful. As we are given grace, we can be made strong as the Lord Jesus was through the grace that was in Him. (2 Timothy 2:1) The power of grace can truly inspire us.

3. It is personal

When we have experienced the grace of God, we would be personally inspired to live in a way that we never did before. Let’s truly be inspired.

Inspired to action

For many weeks now, I have been inspired to action by what Paul wrote, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (1 Corinthians 15:10)

1. Inspired by a great example

The Apostle Paul’s life is an inspiration to me. All that made up Paul was nothing but the grace of God working in his life. His life of grace became an example that inspired me.

2. Inspired not to allow grace given to be in vain

We have received the super abundant grace of God for a purpose. It should not be received in vain. I was inspired to live my life and to fulfill my ministry even more significantly.

3. Inspired to labor more abundantly

Paul was inspired by grace to work even more extensively…He worked and labored more abundantly. I too was inspired to do more. This YAG weekly was my way of applying this text. I was inspired to action…to do more works of grace. Have you been inspired by grace into action? Let us be challenged to be inspired by grace to serve our God more abundantly.
