8th Retreat: Partakers Of The Divine Nature

The theme of this retreat was about an aspect of the Doctrine of Salvation described by the apostle Peter. He spoke of believers as people who are partakers of the Divine nature. At the Retreat, we sought to deepen our understanding of what it means to find new life in Christ. Our salvation is more than just having a hope in heaven. When we come to faith in Christ, a new work in our life begins. Old sinful ways depart and a new creation takes place. The deeper our understanding of this glorious work of God, the more we will enjoy our faith in Christ.
