THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. Help for our many Human weaknesses (Romans 8:26)

a) The Spirit was asked for by the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:16)
b) He will be sent (John 14:26)
c) He will teach (John 14:26)
d) He will testify of Christ (John 15:26)

2. Help of the Spirit in our prayers (Romans 8:26-27)

a) We do not know what we should pray for as we ought (Romans 8:26)
b) The Spirit Himself makes intercession for us (Romans 8:26)
i) With groanings that cannot be uttered
ii) Beyond our human comprehension
c) He knows the will of God
d) He prays on our behalf according to the Will of God (Romans 8:27)

A VITAL DOCTRINE

1. All things work together for good to those who love God

2. To all who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28)

a) Understanding needed
b) Human responsibility to be exercised
c) God’s Will prevails

DOCTRINE OF OUR SALVATION FROM THE LORD

1. Foreknowledge of God (Romans 8:29)

2. Predestination (Romans 8:29)

3. Calling (Romans 8:30)

4. Justified (Romans 8:30)

5. Glorified (Romans 8:30)

To be conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29)
