A place where many Exiled Jews lived

GOD’S MANIFESTATION TO EZEKIEL

1. The heavens were opened   (Ezekiel 1:1a)

2. I saw visions of God   (Ezekiel 1:1b)

3. The word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest   (Ezekiel 1:3a)

4. The hand of the LORD was upon him there   (Ezekiel 1:3b)

THE GLORY OF THE LORD REVEALED

1. Four living creatures   (Ezekiel 1:5)

2. Likeness of their Faces:

a) Man   (Ezekiel 1:10a)
b) Lion   (Ezekiel 1:10b)
c) Eagle   (Ezekiel 1:10c)
d) Ox   (Ezekiel 1:10d)

3. Appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD   (Ezekiel 1:28)

a) Their appearance was like burning coals of fire   (Ezekiel 1:13)
b) The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the colour of an awesome crystal   (Ezekiel 1:22)
c) And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone   (Ezekiel 1:26a)
d) The appearance of a Man high above it   (Ezekiel 1:26b)
e) The appearance of a rainbow   (Ezekiel 1:28a)
