THE SALVATION THAT GOD GIVES

1. It is a great salvation   (Hebrews 2:3)

a) Proclaimed by the Lord Jesus Christ   (Hebrews 2:3)
b) Proven by miracles/ signs and wonders   (Hebrews 2:4)

2. Salvation and Sanctification

a) Jesus makes believers holy   (Hebrews 2:11)
b) He makes us holy as He is   (Hebrews 2:11)
c) Believers are called “holy brethren”   (Hebrews 3:1)

3. Salvation and Calling

a) Believers have a heavenly calling   (Hebrews 3:1)
b) Called to be part of the House of Christ   (Hebrews 3:6)
c) Believers are partakers of Christ   (Hebrews 3:14)
d) Partakers of the Holy Spirit   (Hebrews 6:4)
e) Tasted the good word of God   (Hebrews 6:5)
f) Experienced the power of God   (Hebrews 6:5)

THE THINGS THAT ACCOMPANY SALVATION

1. Like good land

a) Drinks in the rain
b) Bears good fruit
c) Blessed by God

2. Labour of love   (Hebrews 6:10)

3. Ministering to the saints   (Hebrews 6:10)

4. Full assurance of hope to the end   (Hebrews 6:11)

5. Not sluggish   (Hebrews 6:12)

6. Following the example of those who have faith   (Hebrews 6:12)
