2. Chosen as God’s servant   (Isaiah 41:8b)

3. Taken from the ends of the earth   (Isaiah 41:9)

ISRAEL’S PROMISES

1. Promise of God’s Presence

“I am with you”   Isaiah 41:10

2. Promise of Strength

“I will strengthen you”   Isaiah 41:10

3. Promise of Help

“I will help you”   Isaiah 41:10

4. Promise of Upholding

“I will uphold you”   Isaiah 41:10

5. Promise of Protection

“All those who strive with you shall perish”   Isaiah 41:11

ISRAEL’S PROBLEMS

1. Spiritual Deafness

“Deaf… as My messenger whom I send”   Isaiah 42:18

2. Spiritual Blindness

“Who is blind but My messenger”   Isaiah 42:19

3. Spiritual Insensitivity

“He has set him on fire all around, yet he did not know;
And it burned him, yet he did not take it to heart”   Isaiah 42:25

ISRAEL’S ONLY HOPE
