REMEMBER THE DAYS OF OLD

COMMEMORATIVE FEASTS
Many were the blessings the Lord gave to the children of Israel. Lest they be taken for granted, the Lord taught them how to commemorate special events.
- The weekly Sabbath
a) Designed for rest
b) Dedicated for worship Exodus 23:10-13
- Three Annual Feasts
a) Passover/ Unleavened Bread
b) Firstfruits/ Tabernacles
c) Harvest/ Pentecost Exodus 23:14-19
These events were meant to help the nation to remember all that God had done and be grateful too!
THE CALL TO REMEMBER
Moses made it a point to call Israel to remember what the Lord did!
Remember the days of old.
Consider the years of many generations.
Ask your father, and he will show you;
Your elders, and they will tell you. Deuteronomy 32:7
Let us seek to practise this principle-practice this Anniversary month. Let us not forget what God has done for us, individually and as a Church!
