THE GREATNESS OF GOD

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD
Our knowledge of God must never be stagnant. Each year must see us grow our knowledge of the Lord so that we are filled with a sense of His greatness! This was Moses’ own experience!
3 For I proclaim the name of the Lord:
Ascribe greatness to our God.
4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. Deuteronomy 32:3-4
- The LORD
a) His name is sacred
b) Greatness is to be ascribed to Him
- Discovery of the LORD
a) He is the Rock
i) To represent strength
ii) To highlight antiquity
iii) To inspire confidence
b) His work is perfect
i) Our human viewpoint is defective
ii) We need to appreciate the depth of God’s work
iii) It is nothing less than “perfect”
c) All His ways are justice
i) God is concerned about justice
ii) He will always uphold it
iii) We are to defend it
d) What Moses discovered further about God
i) He is indeed a God of truth
ii) He is without injustice;
iii) He is fully righteous and upright

Let us be challenged to grow in our knowledge of God!

Let us seek the Lord diligently in humble prayer. May we grow well in 2021!
