MADE US ALIVE
Text: Ephesians 2

THE AMAZING SALVATION PLAN OF GOD
The redemptive plan of God is well described in the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of
His great love with which He loved us,
Even when we were dead in trespasses,
Made us alive together with Christ
(By grace you have been saved),
And raised us up together, and made us sit together
In the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches
Of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:4-7
- Where did the plan of salvation originate?
a) In God
b) In His rich mercy
c) In His great love
d) In His grace
e) In His kindness
- How does His salvation express itself?
a) He loved us despite our sinfulness
b) He made us come alive even though we were dead in our trespasses
- What is the extent of God’s plan of salvation?
a) He has elevated us
b) He has raised us to sit in the heavenly places in Christ the Lord
- God will display
a) His exceeding riches of divine grace
b) Our salvation is truly an astonishing display of God’s greatness
HOW MAY WE KNOW THAT WE ARE TRULY SAVED?
The expressions of true salvation in Christ are quite obvious!
- Alive
a) We are spiritually alive
b) There will obvious evidence of spiritual life
- Fruit of salvation
a) We will bear fruit in our life
b) There will be significant changes in our life
c) We will desire to serve the Lord
Let us rejoice in the salvation we have in the Lord. Let us seek to share our salvation with loved ones and friends.
