Out of His Fullness We Have All Received

APPRECIATING THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST AS A BASIS FOR OUR LIFE

“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.”   John 1:16

1. There is the fullness of Christ for us to appreciate

a) “Fullness” means to be totally filled with…completeness
b) Christ is someone who has fullness rather than just One who saves
c) There are many aspects to the fullness of Christ
d) There is the fullness, the completeness of Christ for us to explore and to appreciate

2. The fullness of Christ should be seen as a basis for our life

a) There should be fullness in our life too
b) The fullness of Christ is meant to be a basis for our life
c) Our life is meant to have fullness rather than just what it is today
d) The fullness of Christ should be the basis of our life that we too may have fullness in time.

APPROPRIATING THE FULLNESS OF GRACE TO LIFE

e) Strength

APPLICATION OF THE FULLNESS OF GRACE IN OUR LIFE

1. Personal life

a) Applying the fullness of grace in my life and ministry
b) Applying in life’s difficult challenges

2. Church

a) Grace applied to Bethany’s 42 years
b) Fullness of grace is needed for the 43rd year of ministry
c) Particularly with the building of Bethany IV

3. Personal application

a) All, whether young or old, can work towards having the fullness of grace in our life
b) Start with knowing the fullness of grace
c) Ask in faith for this fullness of grace
d) See the fullness of grace resulting in our life.
