“Oh, how they are brought to desolation…” Psalm 73:19a
DREAMS
Everyone has dreams. The righteous and humble dream of a better life. The wicked have dreams too, often of wealth and power!
WHEN DREAMS SEEM TO COME TRUE
The wicked may have felt that their dreams had come to pass when they were able to enjoy the following:-
1. Strength Psalm 73:4
2. Abundance Psalm 73:7
3. Wealth Psalm 73:12
THE TURNING OF THE TIDES OF LIFE
The wicked must have had a rude awakening when the tides of life turned against them. The psalmist Asaph was given a further word of understanding concerning the fate of the wicked.
“Oh, how they are brought to desolation,
as in a moment!
They are utterly consumed with terrors.”
