Day 214 – Psalm 28

“Blessed be the LORD…” Psalm 28:6

THE SILENCE OF GOD WAS BROKEN

The sudden change of tone in Psalm 28 must be noted! Gone was the worrying fear of God’s silence. Gone was the dread that God might lump him with the wicked. In place of that fear came a powerful cry of praise!

“Blessed be the LORD, because He has heard the voice
of my supplications!
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.”
Psalm 28:6-7
