“Be not far from Me” Psalm 22:11

TESTING OF TRUST

The author of Psalm 22 must have been sorely tested in his life. The problems of life made even more complex by wicked enemies must have severely tested his trust in God.

HOLDING FAST TO TRUST IN GOD

It may be difficult to face trials of life. But nothing is more important than to hold fast to our trust in God. One way of holding fast may be expressed in prayer.

“I was cast upon You from birth.
From My mother’s womb You have been My God.
Be not far from Me, for trouble is near;
For there is none to help.”
Psalm 22:10-11
