Day 167 – Psalm 106

“And the land was polluted with blood.” Psalm 106:38d

HUMAN SACRIFICE

Human life must always be regarded as sacred. The children of Israel lost more than just a good system of worship that God had given to them. They had lost their own flesh and blood when they embraced the idolatrous practices of the Canaanites.

“And shed innocent blood,
The blood of their sons and daughters,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
And the land was polluted with blood.”
Psalm 106:38

2. “The blood of their sons and daughters”
