THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN THE LORD JESUS
1. Descended
The Holy Spirit descended on the Lord Jesus at His baptism (Luke 3:22).
a. Authentication of the Person of the Lord Jesus.
i. He was the Messiah.
ii. He was the Son of God.
b. Approval from God given.
i. God spoke from the heavens.
ii. He expressed approval of the life of the Lord Jesus (Luke 3:22).
2. Filled
The Spirit of God filled the Lord Jesus (Luke 4:1a):
a. Heart and mind
b. Consciously and Completely
3. Led
The Spirit led the Lord Jesus:
a. Purposefully
b. Powerfully
FORTY DAYS AND NIGHTS IN THE WILDERNESS
1. Preparation for Public Ministry
a. This was good and wise.
b. The Lord Jesus would prepare Himself well.
2. Satan was allowed to test the Lord Jesus Christ
a. Satan had made Adam and Eve fall so easily.
b. He would mount an attack against the Lord Jesus Christ too.
3. He would pick an appropriate time to test the Lord Jesus
a. He would test Him severely.
b. He would try and cause the Lord Jesus to fail and to sin against God.

圣灵引导主耶稣：
a. 富有明确目标的
b. 富有能力的
四十昼夜在旷野
1. 预备对外公开的事工
a. 这是好的，也是明智的
b. 主耶稣将好好地预备自己
2. 撒旦魔鬼受允许试探主耶稣
a. 撒旦轻易地使亚当和夏娃跌倒
b. 它也必攻击主耶稣基督
3. 它必挑选适当的时机试探主耶稣
a. 它必极为严厉地试探祂
b. 它会试图使主耶稣失败并得罪上帝
