MEDITATION
Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
John 1:1-3
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
Psalms 8, 19, 104
1. These may be called “Creation Psalms”.
2. They were written by Psalmists who were inspired as they meditated on God’s creation.
3. Creation or what people call “Nature” is really the result of God’s creative action.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. We see the involvement of:
a. God the Father.
b. Jesus who was called the Word by the apostle John. He is presented as the Co-Creator with God.
c. The Spirit of God.
2. Let us take time to:
a. Reflect on what God has created (universe, the earth, mankind).
b. Respond appropriately:
i. Let us bless the LORD from the depths of our soul. Psalm 104:1a
ii. Let us praise God for His greatness displayed. Psalm 104:1b
iii. Let us sing to the LORD as long as we live. Psalm 104:33
iv. Let us meditate on the LORD and be filled with gladness. Psalm 104:34
v. Let our hearts always be filled with songs of praise. Psalm 104:35

1 太初有道，道与神同在，道就是神。
