Text: Exodus 16: 9-12
MEDITATION
Exodus 16:9-12
9 Then Moses spoke to Aaron, “Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, ‘Come near before the LORD, for He has heard your complaints.’”
10 Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
11 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
12 “I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the LORD your God.’”
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. Moses to Aaron
a. Moses is the established leader.
b. Aaron continues to assist by speaking to the children of Israel.
c. He has more contact with the people because he had remained in Egypt.
2. Aaron’s word
a. He encouraged the people to draw near to the Lord.
b. He will speak to them because He has heard their prayers.
3. The glory of the LORD
a. This is a special manifestation from God.
b. He makes His personal appearance known to the children of Israel.
c. A cloud appeared in the wilderness.
d. The people see the cloud approaching them.
4. The LORD’s message to the people
a. He has heard the complaints of the children of Israel.
b. God would provide for them bread in the morning.
c. He would also provide meat in the evening.
d. God’s provision would demonstrate an important truth.
i. He is the LORD.
ii. He is their God.
e. There was no need to complain again and again.

9 摩西对亚伦说:“你告诉以色列全会众说:‘你们就近耶和华面前,因为他已经听见你们的怨言了。’”
10 亚伦正对以色列全会众说话的时候,他们向旷野观看,不料,耶和华的荣光在云中显现。
11 耶和华晓谕摩西说:12 “我已经听见以色列人的怨言。你告诉他们说:‘到黄昏的时候,你们要吃肉,早晨必有食物得饱,你们就知道我是耶和华你们的神。’”
