Text: Exodus 15: 17-19
MEDITATION
Exodus 15:17-19
17 You will bring them in and plant them
In the mountain of Your inheritance,
In the place, O LORD, which You have made
For Your own dwelling,
The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.
18 “The LORD shall reign forever and ever.”
19 For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. Hope in the LORD expressed
a. God will bring them into the Promised Land.
b. He will plant His people.
2. Mountain of Your inheritance
a. This would be a veiled reference to Jerusalem.
b. It would be where His sanctuary would be built.
c. It would be God’s chosen dwelling place.
d. This would be something God would establish in the future.
3. The LORD’s reign
a. He is the King.
b. And He would reign forever.
4. The defeat of the mighty Egyptian army
a. It was feared by many countries:
i. Their chariots.
ii. Their cavalry.
b. But they perished in the Sea.
5. The children of Israel
a. They walk on dry land (the seabed).
b. They crossed the Red Sea because of God’s power that divided it.

17你要将他们领进去，栽于你产业的山上。耶和华啊，就是你为自己所造的住处；主啊，就是你手所建立的圣所。
18耶和华必做王，直到永永远远。”19法老的马匹、车辆和马兵下到海中，耶和华使海水回流淹没他们，唯有以色列人在海中走干地。
