MEDITATION
Exodus 15:6-10
6 “Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power;
Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.
7 And in the greatness of Your excellence
You have overthrown those who rose against You;
You sent forth Your wrath;
It consumed them like stubble.
8 And with the blast of Your nostrils
The waters were gathered together;
The floods stood upright like a heap;
The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 The enemy said, ‘I will pursue,
I will overtake,
I will divide the spoil;
My desire shall be satisfied on them.
I will draw my sword,
My hand shall destroy them.’
10 You blew with Your wind,
The sea covered them;
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
MEANINGFUL APPLICATION TO LIFE
1. The Contents of the Song of Moses (Part 2)
a. The right hand of God
i. This is an idiom.
ii. This is a reference to the power of God.
iii. Its power destroyed the chariots of Egypt.
b. The thoughts of the Egyptians
i. They pursued Israel with the intent of enslaving them again.
ii. They believed that they would win this battle.
iii. They thought of the children of Israel as spoils of war.
iv. They looked forward to destroying Israel.
2. The Deliverance of God
a. The greatness of God was displayed.
b. He parted the Red Sea.
c. They were like a solid wall.
d. The children of Israel crossed over the Sea without mishap.
3. The defeat of the Egyptians
a. The wind was from God.
b. He caused the sea to return to its normal state.
c. The Egyptians sank like lead to the bottom of the sea

《出埃及记 15:6-10》
6耶和华啊，你的右手施展能力，显出荣耀；耶和华啊，你的右手摔碎仇敌。
7你大发威严，推翻那些起来攻击你的；你发出烈怒如火，烧灭他们像烧碎秸一样。
8你发鼻中的气，水便聚起成堆，大水直立如垒，海中的深水凝结。
9仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上；我要分掳物；我要在他们身上称我的心愿；我要拔出刀来，亲手杀灭他们。’10你叫风一吹，海就把他们淹没，他们如铅沉在大水之中。
