Text: Mark 1

"And rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:13

THE SAME PHENOMENAL RESULTS

Would Jesus have the same wonderful results if He were to develop an itinerant ministry? The Disciples need not have feared.

“And He was preaching in their synagogues
throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons.”

MARK 1:39

1. True Divine Power

What would we define true divine power in life and ministry? Jesus gave us the most complete answer.

a) Power will be constant

The power that was displayed in the little town of Simon Peter would also be displayed in other towns.

b) Power will be consistent

The power that Jesus wielded was most consistent. There were no lapses. The power of God was manifested consistently all the time, town after town.

2. Power in Preaching

Jesus continued to believe in the power of preaching.

a) He preached throughout all Galilee.
b) He never lacked the following:-
i) The Content- The Gospel of the Kingdom of God
ii) The Courage- It was not an easy message to proclaim
iii) The Consistency- To preach consistently is no mean task

3. Power to Cast out demons

This was just another evidence of the true divine power that Jesus wielded.

a) Demons cast out

To be able to do this again and again is great evidence that Jesus possessed great divine power.

b) Demonic resistance

How should we understand the surge of demonic activities, when so little was heard of them before? This must have been demonic resistance of the highest kind!
