PRECIOUS TRUTHS FOUND IN THE SCRIPTURES
Thank God for His servants who were inspired to write the Holy Scriptures. Paul made a very strong case for Gentiles to be called “sons of God!”
WONDERFUL TEACHINGS OF SCRIPTURE
Let us ponder the following truths about the place of Gentiles in the salvation to be found through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!
1. Justification
a) We are declared righteous by God.
b) Our sins are forgiven.
c) This is made possible by faith in Christ (Galatians 3:24).
2. Sons of God
a) We are all sons of God through faith in Christ (Galatians 3:26).
b) Through baptism we are fully identified with Christ (Galatians 3:27).
3. Great Ramifications of being in Christ
a) There is no racial or ethnic distinction
“There is neither Jew nor Greek…” (Galatians 3:28).
b) There is no social class distinction
“There is neither slave nor free…” (Galatians 3:28).
c) There is no gender distinction affecting status
“There is neither male nor female…” (Galatians 3:28).
d) Oneness
We are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).
e) Seed of Abraham
If we are in Christ we are Abraham’s seed (Galatians 3:29).
f) Heirs of Abraham
We are heirs according to God’s promise (Galatians 3:29).
g) Sons of God
We have the adoption as sons of God (Galatians 4:5).
h) The Spirit of God’s indwelling
He teaches us how we may call God “Abba, Father” (Galatians 4:6).
i) Heirs of God
We are heirs of God through Christ (Galatians 4:7).
j) Circumcision or uncircumcision
They avail nothing to all who are in Christ (Galatians 5:6).
