"Yours is the judgment"

Text: Hosea 5:1

THE PRIESTS AND THE KINGS

God had given the priests a very significant role in the nation of Israel. Kings came very much later. Both groups of people were addressed directly and firmly.

“Hear this, O priests!
Take heed, O house of Israel!
Give ear, O house of the king!
For yours is the judgment,
Because you have been a snare to Mizpah,
And a net spread on Tabor.”
