"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?"

Text: Romans 8:35

THE HARSH REALITY OF LIFE

The reality of life is most sobering. What if we have to face harsh circumstances and we are found wanting? Would that affect our standing before the Lord? The Apostle Paul gave a truly uplifting word in this text.

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written:
‘For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.'”
Romans 8:35-36
