"Only Luke is with me..."

Text: 2 Timothy 4:11

FAITHFUL LUKE THE PHYSICIAN

Paul had many wonderful friends and spiritual children. But he did not selfishly keep them with him. His heart loved the work of the Lord. The departure of Demas must have brought much pain to the heart of the aged apostle. But he was grateful that he had one especially faithful old friend.

“Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you,
for he is useful to me for ministry.”
