"Grace and peace be multiplied to you"

Text: 2 Peter 1:2

THE GIFT OF GOD’S GRACE AND PEACE

The grace of God is a profound truth. Grace is always tied to the word “mercy”.
Out of His abundant grace, our sins are forgiven and salvation is obtained. Great indeed is the mercy of God when we think of how many sins we have committed in our lifetime!

The peace of God is another wonderful gift. It is the result of our having found salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

GRACE AND PEACE IN OUR DAILY LIFE

The grace and peace of God are not limited to salvation. They are just as important to our daily life. This was a truth that Peter sought to communicate to his readers.

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you
in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”
