1 John
"The witness of God is greater..."
Text: 1 John 5:9
THE WITNESS OF MEN
The Old Testament provided guidelines for acceptance of evidence when two or three witnesses are produced (Deuteronomy 17:6). Of course these witnesses must be proven to be faithful and reliable. This method of establishing truth became the norm.
THE WITNESS OF GOD
The Apostle John wrote to encourage his readers to consider an even more profound way of being assured of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has
