a) A Palm Tree (Psalm 92:12a)

ii) Symbolic of a righteous life

b) A Cedar Tree (Psalm 92:12b)
i) Mighty
ii) Majestic
iii) Magnificent

1. The Righteous (Psalm 92:12)

b) Shall grow up

2. The activities of the Righteous

a) He relates to the Lord in giving thanks/ praise (Psalm 92:1)
b) He relates regularly
i) In the morning
He declares God’s lovingkindness (Psalm 92:2a)
ii) In the evening
He speaks of God’s faithfulness (Psalm 92:2b)
c) He has found gladness in the Lord (Psalm 92:4)

A TREE THAT BEARS FRUIT

1. It bears fruit in its season (Psalm 1:3)

2. It continues to bear fruit in old age (Psalm 92:14a)

A TREE THAT CONTINUES TO BE FRESH AND FLOURISHING

1. Freshness

a) Life
b) Healthy
c) Energy

2. Flourishing

a) Continues to be strong
b) Continues to be fruitful

3. Focus

a) To declare that the LORD is upright (Psalm 92:15a)
b) The LORD’s blessing is to be noted and appreciated

APPROPRIATE RESPONSE

1. Personal reflection

a) Power and strength
But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox (Psalm 92:10a)
b) Anointing
I have been anointed with fresh oil (Psalm 92:10b)
c) Victory over enemies
My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies (Psalm 92:11a)

2. Practice of Praise

a) He is my Rock (Psalm 92:15b)
b) And there is no unrighteousness in Him (Psalm 92:15c)

CONCLUSION

1. Promise 

The blessings of the Lord are promised to the righteous.

2. Potential

The potential of realization lies in being righteous.

The picture of a well-planted tree has been proven.
