REVEALING KNOWLEDGE OF PHARAOH’S PLANS

1. Pharaoh’s thoughts

a) He will think that the children of Israel are confused
b) That they are trapped… by the wilderness and the sea   (Exodus 14:3)

2. God’s plans

a) He will harden Pharaoh’s already hardened heart   (Exodus 14:4)
b) He will pursue Israel   (Exodus 14:4)
c) God will gain honour as He defeats Pharaoh and his army   (Exodus 14:4)
d) He is indeed the LORD   (Exodus 14:4)
