Text: Exodus 34:1-9

CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut two tablets of stone like the first one
2. I will write on these tablets the words that were on
The first tablets that you broke (Exodus 34:1)
3. Be ready in the morning and come up in the morning
To Mount Sinai
4. And present yourself to Me on top of the mountain (Exodus 34:2)
5. No man shall come up with you 6. And let no man be seen throughout all the mountain
7. Let neither flocks and herds feed before that mountain (Exodus 34:3)
COMPLIANCE OF MOSES
1. Moses cut two tablets of stone like the first ones (Exodus 34:4)
2. He rose early in the morning and went up to Mount Sinai
As the LORD had commanded him (Exodus 34:4)
3. He took the two tablets of stone with him (Exodus 34:4)
THE GLORY OF THE LORD REVEALED
1. Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there
And proclaimed the name of the LORD
2. The name of the LORD
a) The LORD, the LORD God
b) Merciful
c) And gracious
d) Longsuffering
e) And abounding in goodness
f) And truth
g) Keeping mercy for thousands,
h) Forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin
i) By no means clearing the guilty
j) Visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
k) To the third and fourth generation (Exodus 34:5-7)
RESPONSE OF MOSES
1. He made haste
2. And bowed his head toward the earth
3. And worshipped (Exodus 34:8)
PLEA OF MOSES
1. If now I have found grace in Your sight, O LORD
2. Let my Lord, I pray go among us
3. Even though
4. We are a stiff-necked people
5. And pardon our iniquity and sin
6. And take us as Your inheritance (Exodus 34:9)
