SIGNIFICANT MOMENTS RECALLED

1. The Wilderness journey described briefly

a) Great and terrible wilderness   (Deuteronomy 1:19)
b) On the way to the mountains of the Amorites   (Deuteronomy 1:19)
c) Kadesh Barnea   (Deuteronomy 1:19)

2. Command to enter Canaan

a) The land which God has promised
Commencing with the mountains of the Amorites   (Deuteronomy 1:20-21)
b) Words of encouragement
i) The LORD your God has set the land before you
ii) Go up and possess it
iii) As the LORD your God has spoken to you
iv) Do not fear
v) Or be discouraged

3. Plan to spy out the land

a) Decision to send out spies to reconnoitre the land
