DANGERS HIGHLIGHTED
1. Corruption warned (Deuteronomy 4:15)
2. Idolatry (Deuteronomy 4:16-18)
a) Male figure
b) Female figure
c) Animal
d) Winged bird
e) That which creeps on the ground
f) Fish
g) Sun, moon, stars, the host of heaven
All these were given by God to mankind for a heritage! (Deuteronomy 4:19)
3. Feel driven
a) To worship
b) To serve
These feelings are dangerous!
4. God’s relationship to His people (Deuteronomy 4:20)
a) God brought them out of the iron furnace (Egypt)
b) To be His people
c) To be His inheritance
MOSES’ SHARING HIS UNHAPPINESS
1. The Lord’s anger with him
2. Moses would not be allowed to go into the land of Canaan
3. Canaan
a) A good land
b) A good inheritance (Deuteronomy 4:21)
4. Death of Moses
a) He will not cross over Jordan
b) He will die on this side of Canaan (Deuteronomy 4:22)
